TORONTO WATER
The City of Toronto’s Water Department is utilizing the Boxwall panels to create a Boxpool. This is a good application for mobile spill containment which comes handy!
TUBEWALL
The 66 ft Tubewall on display for the City of Mississauga’s Works Department! Stands up strong!
LAKE ONTARIO SHORE
This is Boxwall placed to protect a home along the shores of Lake Ontario.
Although Boxwall is ideal to work on the pavement, in this scenario, a customer got good results from using it on the grass to simulate a breakwall. A better seal between can be achieved by weighing down the Boxwall by a sandbag or rock in that application.
CLARINGTON
The municipality of Clarington has supported its residents in 2017 and 2019 through the flooding primarily from Lake Ontario. This took a collective effort of the many agencies and the community including the creation and deployment of thousands of sandbags.
Dam-IT Canada is excited about Clarington utilizing Boxwall to help support any future flood mitigation solutions. In this picture, you can see how the sandbags can be replaced by reusable and stackable Boxwall panels.
